Print article WASHINGTON - Preliminary enforcement data for March confirms what border officials have been saying for weeks: The number of migrants crossing into the United States has skyrocketed to the highest levels in at least 15 years, and record numbers of teenagers and children arriving without parents have overwhelmed the government’s ability to care for them. Though President Joe Biden and his top officials have refused to acknowledge it is a crisis, the latest data shows the new administration under extraordinary strain.

April 15th through 30th it will be BLUE in support of Guernsey County Children Services and Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Police say a Harvest man is in jail for sexually abusing a child and posting the abuse on social media.
Jadarian Williams, 24, is accused sexually abusing a child under the age of 12, recording it and sharing it online.
The arrest happened after several tips from concerned citizens reached the Special Victims Unit (SVU).
The Huntsville Police SVU Investigators are based at the National Children’s Advocacy Center, where they received assistance from Homeland Security on this case. Investigators traveled to central Alabama during the investigation to collect evidence.

BRIDGEPORT, Ala. (WAFF) - A Bridgeport police officer is now behind bars at the Jackson County Jail.
Bridgeport police officer Geoffrey Booth is charged with pornography possession.
WAFF was told Jackson County Sheriffâs deputies responded to a domestic call involving Booth. Thatâs when they found pornographic images of someone under the age of 17 on his phone.
According to deputies, Booth turned himself into the Jackson County Jail on April 1, and has already resigned from the Bridgeport Police Department.
